I was given some plastic horse troughs by a co-worker a while back and wanted to use them to plant some running bamboo. On their own they are not appealing to the eye. Here is what I did using bamboo edging (a common item that can be ordered from the internet) to spruce them up and make them a container reborn and nice to look at.
